PRINT PROCESS
Images captured on film on converted to digital files using a high end Nikon scanner for 35mm or drum scanned for 4x5. The scanning process falls short of being able to capture the full range of detail on the film. Each image is then cropped, spotted, and modified digitally using standard darkroom procedures such as dodging and burning in order to bring the image back what it is on film.

PRINT MATERIALS
Prints are made using 70 year achival papers and inks. Matting is done using 100% cotton rag, 4 ply, acid free mat. Foam core, acid free backing board is used, either 3/16" or 1/4" depending on print size. Both materials are PAT certified to assure quality to resist fading and staining.

FRAME MATERIALS
If desired, the prints may be ordered with a simple yet attractive black wood frame. click here for an example.
